For those of you who ask questions:
It didn’t hurt when I got it pierced, only afterwards when it swelled up.
I got my tongue pierced at Universal Tattoos in Ottawa, Canada.
I wasn’t able to eat or speak properly for around 2 days. I could only eat non-solid foods such as soup, potatoes, etc.
A white ring did appear around the bottom of my piercing for the first few weeks, don’t worry, it goes away.
Weird pus/liquid did come out of my tongue at some point, it should be nothing but if it continues for more then a few days, go get checked out for infection.
Make sure to brush the top and the bottom of the tongue ring EVERY DAY for atleast 20 seconds.

It’s worth it. These tools were primarily made out of animal bones to ensure sharpness
